Resulting Products

The internet platform offers girls and young women taking career decisions a number of resources. The core element of the platform is a fun career simulation game, which is a role playing activity that allows girls to simulate typical working days in the science, engineering and ICT-related professions. Specific concepts are taught through interactive exercises and simulations which span the many areas of science and engineering. Specially designed biographies of female technicians, scientists and engineers and links to other ICT/science/engineering sites are also available through the SITCOM platform. The focus is to provide support for the girls’ and young women’s career decisions in an experimental and playful way.
