The games directory is compiled for use by policy makers: people working at key levels of national ministries responsible for school education, adult and lifelong leaming, vocational training (employment), skills agendas, regional and local education authorities and other bodies responsible for strategic developments concerned including those agencies which promote ICT in schools.
The Games Directory provides an evergrowing list of computer Game Based Learming (GBL) products and services available throughout Europe and worldwide. The Directory is divided into different games categories accessed from the left-hand navigation panel and is fully searchable.
Some games include ratings for suitability of content for different age groups by either PEGI Pan European Game Information (Europe) or ESRB, Entertainment Software Rating Board (United Atates and Canada). Where available other ratings have been included. For more information go to:

3rd World Farmer simulates some of the real-world mechanisms that cause and sustain poverty in 3rd World countries.
In the game, developed by the IT-University in Copenhagenthe, the player gets to manage an African farm and is soon confronted with the difficult choices that poverty and conflict can cause.
Against All Odds
Against All Odds is an interactive online game created to increase students’ awareness and knowledge about refugee situations by putting players in the position of a refugee. Divided into three categories –“War and Conflict”, “Borderland”, and “A New Life” - Against All Odds takes players on a journey ultimately towards asylum, but also touches on issues of understanding and intuition in different environments.

Ars Regendi is a multiplayer, browser-based political and economic game that lets players reign their own simulated state. A player is required to make decisions from a number of options on various matters of state. The result of any decision made will have an effect on the well-being of the virtual population.
The aim of the game is to achieve the happiest population possible, or the longest lasting leadership.
Ayiti: The Cost of Life
The player in Ayiti: The Cost of Life, assumes the roles of members of the Guinard family, who are struggling to get by living in rural Haiti ("Ayiti" in Haitian Creole). Over the course of the game, the player must choose among and balance various goals, such as achieving education, making money, staying healthy, and maintaining happiness while encountering unexpected events like disease and hurricanes. The player must many decisions that contribute to or detract from achieving his or her chosen goals.
Baltie 2, 3 and 4 C#
Baltie 4 C# is the latest in a series of educational computer language tools developed by SGP Systems in the Czech Republic. It can be used to teach programming to younger students with little or no experience and is also suitable for those who are more advanced. The tool can be used by children and youths aged from 6 to 19.

The Carbon Game is an online simulation. It provides an exciting stimulus for students to learn about real solutions to climate change. In the game teams of students play Carbon Traders, buying and selling carbon in a European market. By giving carbon a price, the game shows in a fun and interactive way how carbon emissions can be reduced.
Channel 4's game - 1066
1066 is a historically accurate educational and battle strategy flash game. Developed by Channel 4 Education (UK) in partnership with Preloaded it is a single and multiplayer game that enables players to be involved with an educational re-enactment of the English battles and the Norman conquest of 1066.

Choices and Voices is an interactive simulation that encourages young people to explore and discuss the underlying issues and adverse influences, which can lead to divisions and tensions in communities.
Choices&Voices has been supported by the UK Police, developed by PlayGen in collaboration with Birmingham University’s School of Education and relevant academics, the DCSF and a number of regional schools.
